POPULATION

With its 13,558,000 inhabitants (census as of December 2006), the population consists of over sixty ethnic groups among others: Mossi, Gurunsi, Lobi, Bobo, fulanni, Gourmantche, Senoufo, Boussance etc. Ethnic plurality which underscores the wealthy cultural diversity. The various faith and beliefs (Protestants, Catholics, Muslims and Traditionalists) is none of any denominational community’s concern.
